Give students an automatic 0 on an auto-graded Test if they have not completed by the Due Date

We would like students to automatically receive a 0 on an auto-graded Test, if they have not completed it by its Due Date. This is important because otherwise professors have to remember to add those 0's in after the Due Date, or students' in-progress grades will be extremely misleading.

For auto-graded Tests, the professors aren't expecting to have to add any grades, so the system's current behavior of leaving them as blank and not negatively affecting the student's in-progress grade for the course even if they are past the Due Date is problematic.

We had an instance that we caught earlier this term where it made the difference between an A and C- and the student was only halfway through the term. If we hadn't informed the student, he would've thought none of the Tests were required, and would've went on to fail the course.
