New Coach Role

We would like to request a new Coach role. This would help coaches as they are recruiting athletes but protect the admissions role.

• Ability to search/view prospective students - demographic info only
• Once prospective student is tagged as their athlete
• Coaches can view application
• Coach use communication features (email/texting)
• Coach can view their student/athlete’s current class schedule
• Coach does not have the to edit or change application or admit students
• Coach does not have the ability to edit or delete notes

  This would be a great addition.  Close to a third of our students are athletes.  This access for coaches would be very helpful in the recruitment, and on-going students success efforts.

  Yes, we have had coaches accidentally adding student role to prospects, deleting people from Populi (horrors!), etc.

  This is an essential upgrade for our institution.  In addition to what Brenda mentioned above our coaches need to be able to see student schedules, transcripts and progress in courses without any ability to change records.  They are integral part of advising each student athlete.

  Bryce Bernard - Perhaps it would help to make a student's coach one of their Advisors in Populi?

  We need a modified advisor role.  We don't want coaches to be able to change schedules, etc that an advisor can do.
