The task of manually entering the relationship information for all of our incoming students is overwhleming. We would like to have family contact information as part of the admissions application, and have the information entered by the student mapped to the relationship fields. This would ease our manaul data entry considerably.

Dave Czarnecki I second this.
We should be able to populate an account for the parent and link it to the student account via the application process.
Better yet, if there was a field on the student's profile that was for parents etc., with a role checklist to indicate someone who is given permission for FERPA, or includes the specific relation (parent, guardian, advocate, etc), that would be great too.
