your data editing tool is a nightmare. It is not user friendly. I'm sorry, but people do NOT code anymore. Only coders know code. I can't get the text editor do to even very basic things using basic keyboard commands. Unless you know coding, using your editing tools are ridiculously complex. It's beyond frustrating. As an end user, I cant even use it.
Improve your text editing system. I know others have complained bitterly about it. You can say "oh, it's just code" but END USERS DON'T CODE.
Frederick Ranallo-Higgins - Are we talking about Populi's built-in WYSIWYG text editor? What kind of keyboard commands do you expect to work that aren't working? I'm able to use basic shortcuts for things like bold or italic as well as cut and paste - that kind of thing. It's true that in some places you can choose to flip into an HTML edit mode, but it's usually not required unless you want to do something more complex like adding an iframe embed or something like that. From what you're describing I'm wondering if you're experiencing a problem with the editor loading properly. Sometimes browser extensions can foul things up.
