Adding Books to Courses

We are finding the search for books too narrow.  For example, when I copied the name of a book into the search field it pasted with an empty space before the first word...and it did not find the book.  Another example is the title:  Is Acupuncture for You?  The search did not return the book.  I had to search independently for the ISBN and then search on the number.  Once the book was located this way, Populi will now bring it up by title.  Another example is that some of the books I am searching for are 12th or 14th editions.  If it does bring up the title, the suggested texts are not always the same edition.  It would be our preference to have all options show so that we can select the correct one.

Also, I would like to suggest that Populi offer me a drop down of the 10 most recent books I have selected.  Many of our courses repeat text books, but in order to find them, I must complete a new search - sometimes by ISBN - to find the correct book.

Adjustments to this feature would save me a lot of time as we are now adding all our course work into Populi at once.  I realize that if we are only adding one or two courses a semester, the time savings may seem insignificant.

Thank you.
