It would be great if linked fields would be pre-filled with the existing information from a person's record so that he/she can simply update anything that needs changing. For example, this would be most helpful for an annual registration form in which students are required to update their contact details.

Brittany Kemlo I agree that this would be very helpful. We also have an annual form that students fill out every year with lots of linked fields. Having the linked fields pre-fill would save the students lots of time. I think it might also help us with a related problem- that of the students inputting mistakes into their linked fields (such as misspelling their name in a quick form submission or forgetting capitalization marks). It is time-consuming when these errors are automatically introduced into the student's profile by accepting the form.
