The Date field is only text. It would be much more convenient for users if the date field showed a calendar for a user to select a date this way also.

Adam Sentz Josh Torres - Date inputs have a mini calendar date picker in many places throughout Populi. Can you be more specific about the place or places where they aren't currently available, but you'd like them to be?

Jason Van Vliet Here are two places that could use a date picker:
1. Changing Lesson Availability in Lessons Page within a course.
2. Changing Assignment availability in bulk edit in the assignment page. The Due Date field as a time picker but the availability fields do not.

3. The add / edit event dialogue within the calendar functions (including specific course calendars) does not have a mini calendar date picker.
