In our Academic Policy, if a student fails their major assignment (i.e., less than 50%), they would fail the course. Is there any way that we could set the course up to automatically change the final grade to âFâ for the course if a student failed their major assignment, similar to how they would fail and be notified if they went over their allowable absences?

Toby Robinson Official comment There are now two new settings for an assignment:
1. Pass / Fail
Instead of having a alpha/numeric grade input/display you just select Pass of Fail.
2. Mandatory Pass
This assignment must be passed in order to complete the course. If you get a failing grade on it your course grade goes to an F.
