We have started using the Test function to collect student answers for book reading assignments and other types of worksheets. I'd like to propose the ability as a feature to be able to set an early availability date in the assignment tab (so that students can start working on things right away) that is earlier than the lesson availability date the assignment is linked to for submission purposes.
Currently, the lesson week availability dates supersede and override those that exist in the assignment tab for specific deliverables. It would be wonderful to be able to open running "tests" to students to work on and then have the accountability of submitting the assignment via the "require" button in a future lesson item.
