Would it be possible to add a row for new students under the statistics column on the academics main page?
That would be of immense help for an at-a-glance view of academic stats.

Yes, that's what I'm thinking.
Whenever we go to academics and select the term, the first time new students for that term would show up on the right side (perhaps under the "Enrolled" stat.
