Export hyperlink, not just file name, for file-type custom fields

If we add a file-type, people custom field, it all works as advertised. Once a file is uploaded to that custom field it displays in the person's profile as a hyperlink to the uploaded file. Very convenient. Click on the link and Populi immediately takes you to the relevant file and displays it.

However, once we export that data, using the Export Helper, into an Excel database (.xls), only the name of the file, without the hyperlink to the actual file, comes across into the excel spreadsheet. Would it be possible for the Export Helper to send the filename as a hyperlink into the spreadsheet?

That way when we access the data in the excel spreadsheet we have all the same functionality that we do when we access it on the web-based profile page. Then, as we're working with the spreadsheet and we quickly need to access the uploaded file for a certain person, we just need to click on the hyperlink and it would take us immediately to the file, as it is found, uploaded in Populi. Of course, the user is not logged into Populi at that moment, the log in screen would come up first, but that's a small price to pay compared to 1) going into Populi 2) navigating to the correct personal profile 3) scrolling down to the relevant custom field and 4) clicking on the hyperlink.
