@Christopher - You can see the mean and median final grades in a course on the Final Grade "assignment" page. Just click on Final Grade in the grade book.

@Christopher - This is because the letter E can be used to mark student assignments excused. That said, we'll take a look and see if we can't try to improve this in a future update.
