We are having a lot of problems with this section.Students (especially new/prospective students) are reading the Cost of Attendance line of the Summary section as the amount they have to pay.The numbers included in that line are much more than the actual charges they will have from our school. Daily I am telling students to "ignore that information". It is only used to determine loan eligibility. We do not package federal loans so the remaining amount looks insurmountable. What can we do to make this section a bit more helpful?1. Change the description to Estimated Cost of Attendance.2. Add a statement that says "The estimated cost of attendance is used to calculate eligibility for need based aid. See the Dashboard tab for your actual charges."3. Eliminate the summary from showing up automatically on the page and have it under a drop down menu.

Kristine Gripp We should be able to subtotal direct and indirect costs for student views. This is noted in ED posting here (see #3): Issuing Financial Aid Offers–What Institutions Should Include and Avoid | Knowledge Center.
