It would be helpful if the Financial Aid Application Components showed up on a table that could be filtered by status to see which students have completed their aid application and which students still have components to complete.

Kristine Gripp Yes, it seems this would be a very useful tool to be able to direct reminders to students with specific open items. Or just to do a count of how many haven't done a certain thing.

Kristine Gripp Stopping by here again to say this would be a great enhancement if we could filter and/or report on aid application components. We can see how many components are added vs complete but without knowing which items the yare, it's not nearly as helpful as it could be. It would make following up with students about particular items so much easier if we could get a list and not need to look each student up one by one to see what they are missing. If you can list how many are there, can columns be added for each component, too? Thanks

Kristine Gripp Popping in once again to beg for this functionality. This time of year I need to be nagging students to complete things but it's really hard when the only way I can see what needs done is to manually open every student record and scroll around to the components area...

Melissa Hammond I also would find this very helpful!

Heather English How do we run a report on unfinished components of an Aid Application? It's been 10 years since the original question happened. And I'm not seeing it as an option to choose in a report field. Now that we are expanding our Aid Options, it would be helpful to NOT have to keep an Excel list separately.

Melissa Hammond Stopping in again to ask for this functionality! I am trying to pull a report of all my students with incomplete items in their aid applications...
Thank you!

Kristine Gripp Agree - our inability to query by aid application components makes tracking what is needed for follow-up reminders such a slow slog as we must go through students one by one to see them.
Perhaps if this feature ever happens, there could also be a way for some completed items to automatically update the status of such components. Examples, if a form is needed, once it's completed it could update that item to received. Or if a particular MPN or counseling type is needed, it could auto-update that component status when the file comes in via DOED, so we didn't need to manually do all the updating too.
